Pre-medication
For patients who experience fear or anxiety when confronted with a dental appointment, oral sedation offers a peaceful alternative. Oral sedation (usually in the form of anti-anxiety or "happy pills") is prescribed for relieving anxiety in the hours immediately before a dental appointment. It makes lengthy appointments or successive procedures comfortable.
After your treatment, you will need a friend or relative to drive you home where you can enjoy the rest of your day. We understand the fear factor, but we also believe that your oral health should be a priority.
